Iowa native Stacia Allen’s directorial film debut, Farmer: An American Tragedy, has been touring the film festival circuit since its completion late last year. It has since garnered three awards:

Winner – Best Professional Short Film at the Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival

Official Selection – Athens International Film and Video Festival

Official Selection – Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival

This film was also my film scoring debut, and despite the fact that none of these awards mention the music explicitly, I can’t help but gloat anyway… I’m very proud of it.

You can hear a good sample of the music on the website itself, which is linked above. Featured musicians, who rightly deserve accreditation, include Bill Secor on cello, Rob Secor on violin, Patrick Kelleher on bass and Stephen Kelleher on guitar.
